The Michigan Amateur MMA Sport Combat Association sanctions
events to allow fighters to compete in safe, monitored events which
follow a consistent set of rules A data base is kept on all amateurs
who are members of the Association. This provides a legitimate fight
record for the fighter. For the safety of all fighters, a HIV/HEP test result
must be submitted to the Association before a fighter may compete in
an Association sanctioned event.
Starting in 2009, there is a $35 annual fee for Association registration, but please remember to submit your application before you fight, to insure that you are in the data base and receive your points for fighting.
The Michigan Amateur MMA Sport Combat Association will santion
The Amateur MMA Cage Fighting Championship Series which begins in
February 2009 and ends in December 2009. Sanctioned fights will be held
in Alpena and St. Ignas, MI.
Fighters may compete for State Champion weight divisions titles and
belts. If you are interested in competing in this Championship Series,
or a fighter's membership in the Association, contact:
